- 🚉Background: Jinan Old Railway Station, also known as Jinan Station of the Jinpu Railway, is located in Jinan, Shandong Province, China. Built in 1912 and completed in 1992, it is a German-style building designed by German architect Hermann Fischer Hermann Fischer was an architect from Germany who had just graduated at the age of 24, and Jinan Railway Station was his first major architectural design project. The station building reflected contemporary architectural trends at the time and became one of the best examples of the German Art Nouveau style.
