- ⚙Author's description: Doc Brown's Futaba remote from Back to the Future
My new MOC is a 1:1 scale replica of the legendary remote control used by Doc Brown in Back to the Future (1985) to control the Delorean.
Most of the toggle and rotary switches can be moved. The two main joysticks even return to their center position (from left to right) using a spring mechanism.
I did my best to make the remote control as precise as possible - right down to the four Duracell batteries on the back and the cable connections on the STOP switch and the STOP indicator.
As an easter egg, I designed the remote openable - inside is the famous scene in the Twin Pines Mall parking lot when Marty travels back through time pursued by the Libyans. There was even room for Doc's SEIKO control clock, which he uses to monitor the first time travel experiment with Einstein. - ⚙Since our MOC sets are brand new, it requires 15 days handling time from order to shipment, then shipping takes about another 15 days.
