- 🏰Designer's Description:
In the Middle Ages, rivers were important trade routes that often brought in high customs revenues. But how could a river be protected against attackers? With a chain tower, previously fastened chains could be stretched over the surface of the water if necessary. Thus, no ship could pass the river.A good example was the chain tower of Damiette which was besieged during the 5th crusade (or crusade of Damiette) in 1218 and conquered by the crusaders after a fierce battle. The model is divided in two seperate parts that can be build individually, so it´s perfect if you don´t want tu build alone.
- 🏰Since our MOC sets are brand new, it requires 15 days handling time from order to shipment, then shipping takes about another 15 days.
