- Background: The Talarian warship was a type of warship used by the Talarians during the mid-24th century. The offensive potential of Talarian warships was limited to neutral particle weapons, high-energy X-ray lasers and merculite rockets. These vessels were far inferior to Federation Galaxy-class starships. After responding to a distress call from a Talarian observation craft in early 2367, the USS Enterprise-D rendezvoused with the Talarian warship Q'Maire to transfer survivors it had recovered from the observation craft.
